Moto G 5G Mid Range 5g Phone Unboxing and first look
hi guys this is shubham and in this article let's do the unboxing and have a first look at this new moto g 5g and this is a new series and as you can see 5g is prevalent and motorola claims that this will be one of the most affordable 5g smartphones that will be launching in india let's see uh i don't know the exact pricing because i got the unit uh two days before the launch but i'll add the pricing information uh what do you say below it will be able to buy a flipkart here it says about 25 000 but i think so the pricing is wrong i think so it might be around i don't know 23 24 let's see but i'll add the pricing information below interruption from the future i just came to know
that the moto g 5g will be priced in india at 20 999 that's about 21k but if you have a hdfc card you can get the thousand rupees discount so it works out to be about 20k and guys it will be available on flipkart from uh december 7th onwards at 12 noon i'll leave all the link in the description so back to the video now another thing is that uh this is the first smartphone uh that comes with the new uh qualcomm snapdragon 750 g soc uh this is also an octa core processor but the uh actually it's divided into two powerful codes and six uh what do you say regular
performance one and the two high performance scores are actually much powerful and they are newer compared to even the snapdragon 765g and it's supposed to even have enhanced ai operations so in gaming and camera this should be actually pretty good and as you can see it says that it has that uh turbo power charging it comes with a 20 watt fast charger and has a 5000mah battery it says triple camera that's 48 megapixel is the main one also has night
vision it says and that's it so let's just open it up and have a look and guys uh one thing is very important uh is that again this one also says 5g but it's important to know what are the 5g bands that a smartphone supports that is very important because i've literally seen some brands saying 5g and they support only one band of 5g this one luckily supports all the 11 uh bands that are supported by 5g so whenever we get 5g and whatever band this will work
with 5g and motorola claims that this smartphone for 5g will work all across the world so that's actually nice thing so again it's important to check the 5g bands if you're specifically going for a new phone and you want that 5g safety i would say so let's open this up and here is the handset it's having a 6.7 inch screen and again says that ultra fast 5g
speed for all in all those things so that's it and uh case is pre-applied that is interesting so i'll just remove it and back this motorola logo is actually the fingerprint scanner that triple camera but because the flash it looks like quad as you can see let's just peel this off also comes out like that i will come to the device later let's see what else do we get so this i believe yeah this is just opening up like this so just some paperwork because the case and yeah
we also get the sim ejector tool inside and basic manuals uh i'll just keep that to the side and uh this is supposed to be a new 20 watt fast charger that is supplied so nice earlier i believe motorola is giving 18 watts so this is a 20 watt fast charger and this will be our type c cable so that's what we get so let me do one thing let me just keep this to the side and let's look at the handset itself and this is having a 5000mah battery guys that front punch
hole camera ah on the top we do have a secondary noise cancellation microphone so that's nice the back is plastic but this uh the build quality of this area looks to be good so nice to see secondary noise cancellation microphone here we have the volume rockers again good tactile feel not mushy or anything we have the power on off button and this has what you say texture so you can easily feel that power on off button so that's nice button will be the speaker vent type c port uh fortunately uh 3.5 mm headphone jack that we are still getting on this phone so that's actually nice and uh here we have one more key i believe this is the google key if you
click you get the google assistant so we have that and uh let's see and this will come in six gigabytes of ram and 128 gigabytes of storage so looks like this might be hybrid but let's see yes we are getting a hybrid uh slot on this one so let's just put this back and back as i've told you that uh triple camera setup this is the fingerprint scanner and the front is a 16 megapixel
let me just try to boot it up and guys by the time it actually boots up and i set it up here is a configuration overview this moto g 5g is having a 6.7 inch full hd plus screen this is actually hdr 10 uh supported screen it comes with the new snapdragon 750 g uh soc which is octa core processor with 5g support it comes with six gigabytes of ram and 128 gigabytes of storage so moving to the camera it have it's a triple rate camera setup the main camera has
a 48 megapixel with f 1.7 aperture right that's quad the pixel binning and then we have eight megapixel ultra wide then also we also have a two megapixel that's actually for macro but this also supports auto focusing moving the front facing camera we have a 16 megapixel uh sensor and we have a 5000mah battery with 20 watt fast charging so guys i have set up this device so let's have a closer look at the same and again as you can see this comes with almost
stock android experience and again no bloatware or anything no unnecessary apps yes facebook was pre-installed uh also we have fm radio so those of you who like fm radio yes it's there on this device and again as you can see motorola specific app i just installed speed test just wanted to check the wi-fi performance uh because it has that five gigahertz band and also by the way yes this smartphone does support carrier regulation uh so again very clean that's what i like with the motorola phones no ads no bloatware or anything so that's what i like and again if
you look at this also very close to almost stock android apart from motorola specific what do you say this attentive display or moto gestures and stuff for example it has that moto gesture for example if you do this flashlight comes and if you just do this twist the camera will open and all those things so those things are there but apart from that almost stock as you can see uh that we are getting and uh uh regarding the storage guys i just installed one app uh so
about 112 gigabytes is what you will get as you can see and uh if i go over about the phone uh the device name is moto g 5g and right now it's running on android 10 but motorola has said that this will soon be getting android 11 update also so that's what we have come very close to stock android experience that you are getting on this one as you can see the typical motorola was doing some updates in the background as you can see it's done that and again
as i mentioned uh regarding 5g i'm happy that all the 11 5g bands are supported on this one so that's actually a nice thing and let's take the fingerprint scanner it's a traditional fingerprint scanner here at the back and as you can see it is fast so again you don't have to worry about the fingerprint scanner you can also enroll into the face unlocking i didn't do that but you can do that and now let's also look at the camera on this one uh the triple camera setup that they have anyways
look at the camera so let's just i love it so okay not now welcome to the camera so uh they didn't change the camera interface that much but this is the new camera ui uh i got an update and you can switch to macro it says 1x and this is wide angle and we also have that macro so let me just bring this yes you can go really close to the object the macro and they say that it also has auto focusing in this macro so i'll actually take some close-up shots later on but yeah this is the one x that is 48 megapixel by default and you can adjust the exposure directly from here as you can see so you can do that flash timer and all those things and if i go over here uh again
you have more options timer and all those things and if i click here you get to the other modes like portrait night vision is there so uh we'll also look at and even we have the pro mode in the camera so again we do have a lot of modes anyways let's look at the front facing camera uh this is supposed to be again a 16 megapixel i believe i'm in the portrait mode by d4 yeah it has that and if you click here uh you can adjust the background blur i believe and this is the regular photo mode and by default this is also doing pixel binning guys so it combines four pixels so
hopefully uh the results are good let me actually do one thing let me actually take some sample shots with this one so that you have a better idea regarding the camera so these were taken with the rear facing camera and it's a very cloudy and overcast day but then also as you can see the pictures came out good and it has actually good amount of detail in the picture this is a regular shot and this was that wide-angle shot again some more samples to give you an idea about the color and i feel the color reproduction is actually pretty good on this one now moving
to human subjects this was the portrait mode this was the regular shot it came out really good portrait mode and this is again the regular mode and this was that ultra wide angle now going to the front facing camera in the regular mode as you can see the pictures come out to be actually really good but in the portrait mode notice that the blurring is not that good i hope it improves with the software update and these were taking completely artificial lighting in my office and as you can see in completely artificial lighting also uh the camera actually does
