OPPO Enco X TWS review with pros and cons

 

hi guys this is shubham nd in this article let's have a closer look at this oppo enco x and this is the premium tws and they claim that this also has active noise cancellation so let's have a closer look at this one now and as you can see guys i tested it with two different smartphones this is the oppo renault 5 throw that was recently launched and i also tested it with the galaxy fold and i'll share the experience i had so first thing is as you can see they come in this they actually come in this white box inside this we have this box and uh these were priced at risk 9990 in india and this came in this and we also have some extra ear tips over here guys and i had to change the extra units by default it was at medium but i changed to the large one and i'll just keep that to the side and let's have a closer look at this uh case itself that has the buds itself and as you can see uh it looks like a pebble and uh they claim that the audio is by dyna 

audio uh this is a sweden company and in fact i would say the audio is actually really good on this one i was not expecting that the clarity will be this good on this tws uh so as you can see it has that branding over here and looks like a pebble uh this is actually a led light this actually glows and you open it by just like doing like this as you can see it's green that means these are actually charged and if you go over here uh we have a button here this is used for pairing also you also have the oppo branding over this side and bottom is the uh type c charger and actually uh if i take this out these do resemble the airports pro i would say in my frank opinion and they have the silicon tip as of today i changed it and this claims 

to have actually two drivers in this one generally what happens with tws is that they have just a single driver but this actually has two drivers and i think so that's the reason the sound quality is that good it has 11 mm driver uh and also uh if i recall 6 mm driver so that 11 mm driver the base and the mid tones are produced very well and the others actually uh handle the high tones and in terms of comfort i would say these are very very comfortable uh i did not have any issues with this one so even for 

a couple of hours when i was varying very very comfortable though as i've told you i changed the tip from the medium size to the large one and then actually because they have the silicon tip they do provide quite a bit of seal also even though if we keep the active noise cancellation offer but let's talk about some of the features that we have on this one if you notice that this area this stem is also touch sensitive and what i like is that when you're listening to music or anything if you just swipe up it actually increases the volume and if you swipe down it decreases the volume so controlling the volume is very easy on this one again apart from that you have tap functions double tap if you do it goes to the next track triple tap goes back to the previous track and if you hold it for some time it actually moves by default into the uh by default it comes with active noise cancellation on so it will move to the transparency mode and if you hold it again for two seconds it goes back to the active noise cancellation mode so i feel in terms of

 controls i feel they have done a very good job and i like the fact that we have that up and down for controlling the volume that works very easily and another thing is that if you're just listening to music and if you just take out the baths like this it auto pauses the music so that is regarding the general functionality on this one now if you talk about active noise cancellation again guys uh active noise cancellation uh means that it tries to cut out a lot of rumbling sounds in fact i would say it cuts out a lot of low frequency for example if in your house ac or something is humming if you invoke that active noise cancellation it does cut out it won't completely block out humans speaking but i've noticed that it 

cuts down by about 50 percent i like the transparency mode also because when active noise cancellation is on and somebody just comes and speak to it might not be clear if you enable the transparency mode you can hear them so active noise cancellation is a good addition on this one and i would say with anc it blocks about 90 of the sound and in fact it immerses you a little bit more when you enable the active noise cancellation another thing is that i did not get that year fatigue or anything like that that typically only happens with some of the active noise cancellation that was not an issue so that was actually a nice thing on this one and now regarding the battery uh as you can see these are pretty small and oppo claims 

about five hours of battery life and i would say i was getting just slightly over four hours of battery life per charge on this and this is with active noise cancellation if you don't use active noise cancellation battery life increases a little bit but again you can charge it almost about four four and a half times in the case itself so again battery life is not an issue and you always keep it in the case so most of the time when you just take it out it's actually fully charged so in terms of battery life i did not have an issue uh to charge the

 case fully it takes close to about one and a half hours regarding the uh microphones because these days it's not just music i'll talk about the music guys also in the uh later part of the video but let's also talk about the microphones because these days uh we are using these headphones etcetera and art for video conferencing calls etc so how is the microphone so i did test my microphone and here is a sample so recording the sample and the audio is via this oppo and co x so this is again an indoor lighting indoor conditions so not a lot of noise or anything you guys let me know what do you feel about the i'm trying to touch

 this and see if it causes any disruption but you guys let me know what do you feel about the microphone pickup in indoor conditions we'll also do a test outdoors and see how well it does i'm recording this outdoors and we are recording this uh with the cell phone's own microphone so that it gives you an idea how is the pickup directly if you record from a cell phone and now what we'll do is i'll wear this and then let's see the microphone pick up this one now the audio is coming from this oppo enco x so

 you guys let me know what do you feel about this claims to have three microphones for excellent audio pickup and as you can see again we're recording this in outdoor conditions there is quite a bit of sound in the street etc but what do you feel about the microphone pickup do let me know in the comment section now moving to another thing is that these are rated ip54 that means these are sort of dust and splash proof so even uh you can use it uh while you're doing exercising and stuff and if a little bit of water sweat falls on this nothing will happen to this one so that's actually a nice thing regarding the codex on this one uh it supports the normal uh acc and others but it also has this new codec actually that is known as lhdc and this is uh actually uh similar to the sony's proprietary uh codec and because of that this is actually hi-res audio certified so again that's actually a nice thing and if you have an android the phone uh most of them actually do support that codec so that's actually a nice thing now let's talk about how the sound quality on this one what do i feel about this one and here i would say oppo definitely did a good job uh the drivers are really good and i actually enjoyed the sound signature on this one uh before that let me also actually show you a app that you get with this one and i'll use this fold because on oppo phones you don't have to install anything at autoconnex and all those things there is this third party app that you get uh this is known as hello melody app and if you look at this one as you can see it gives you an idea about the charge and everything and you can also do the firmware updates via this one and you can also control the earbud as i've told you what happens when you double tap triple tap at the site control you can customize all those options also touch and hold what happens you can so you can 

customize things using this app so this is the app but again i know what you say eq options or stuff like that on the app but now let's talk about the audio quality uh on this one and as i've told you i like the audio quality on this one without any eq also the sound signature was very very pleasing and if there is one word that i have to say the overall sound signature that i got is clarity and also in terms of sound stage i really liked the sound stage uh it didn't feel crammed or anything so that way they have done a very good job now if you dive down i would say the base is definitely emphasized on this one 

 which most of you would like i also liked it but the base is not muddy or boomy that it creeps into the mid-range so that way it is good but again it's not kind of for bass heads if you want that maybe you have to go to the eq and adjust it but with the default uh i actually really enjoyed the bass on this one the vocals also come out very clear on this so i liked it and especially i feel the high tones have that slight sparkle on this one which is actually missing on a lot of tws i feel that second driver that they have that dedicated uh it's handling that and because of that i got that sparkle on the high tone so in terms of sound signature i would say i really enjoyed this one and i tried it with classical even some edms and pop music and i really enjoyed the music on this one so that way it was actually good uh so overall i would say uh these are actually pretty good considering the price point of this one at 10 000 rupees i was surprised with the sound signature of uh this one and that bonus is that it does have that anc so i would suggest that if you get a chance to actually try it out test it out you might be surprised with this one what do you guys think about the same again uh i think so this is also available via flipkart i'll leave the links in the description anyways guys that's it for now thanks for watching this is shubham and i hope to see you in my next article take care guys
