Oppo Enco W31 TWS Earphones Review

hi guys this is shubham and in this article let's do the review of this oppo encode w31 uh true wireless earphones and uh we'll also compare it with the oneplus what do you say z uh buds which i had reviewed a week about two weeks ago this is the patch that it comes and let me actually give you an idea what comes inside the box and then i'll proceed about what do i feel about this one though it sounds great but i did not like it and i'll let you know why uh so here are the birds and this comes in this box and here if you look at the back uh it actually gives us quite a few uh specs it also has sort of splash proof that's what i like and it has dual uh personality actually you can uh the sound you can adjust into the base mode at the regular mode and you

 get some extra tips also two extra ones again and you also get this cable so i'll just keep this to the side let's look at this because and let me just zoom in a little bit here as you can see it comes in this nice uh pebble like uh box it has that oppo branding over here and if you open this you get the parts and green light donuts it's all actually charged we also have one more button over here and if you need to pair it again with a different device yeah you press

this and it's easy i tested this one on an ipad and also on an android smartphone and it worked perfectly on both so let me actually show you the but before that let me give you a physical overview you have an indent so you can easily open it it's completely made up of plastic guys but it does not feel uh cheap i would say that's what i liked and here we have opening for the usb type-c port and uh again no problems regarding that uh again but guys this

 is actually this area is also completely made up of plastic there's nothing like a metal or something so be a little bit careful though it just closes automatically if you just leave it over here has that magnetic pull and let's take out these stems itself you have one over here and one over here and let's just close this and as you can see we have the connectors here that 

you put and it starts charging uh and these are the buds itself and you have a silicon tip as i've told you uh it comes pre-installed with the medium tip and i did try all the tips guys but for some reason at least for my years this was just not comfortable after 20-25 minutes of continuously wearing it it was giving me a little bit of pain i tried it with all the tips then also i think so let me just take out the tip uh if you notice this area the actual area i feel is slightly on the

 larger side so if you have medium-sized ears or small ears then i think so that's the reason it was a little bit uncomfortable to me uh coming back to this let me just put this back uh if you notice this area is actually touch capacitive and uh the right one uh while let's say if music is playing or something if you double tap it moves to the next strap triple tap goes back i can pause and all these things and on this left side one if you actually tap it twice you change
 the sound signature by default it will be on the standard mode but if you double tap it it goes to the enhanced based mode and i liked it in fact i would say even the standard sound tone was actually good on this i'll talk about the sound signature later on but uh first let's talk about some of the other good things that i liked with this uh i tested as i've told you with ipad and i watched some movies netflix shows etc and i did not have any lip syncing issues so

 it's good for watching movies and stuff some of the bluetooth headsets actually tws exhibit lag this i did not have any lag and i did test it also on my galaxy fold uh this is an android phone and here also actually i did not exhibit any lag in fact i also played call of duty and it was a good experience i won't say it's totally totally lag free in gaming but it did not 

disrupt my game i would say very minimal lack so that is what i liked on this one uh now coming to another thing is the bluetooth range was good on this one i did not have any problems with the bluetooth ring typical bluetooth range in the single room no issues even when i went to the next room it did not disconnect so the bluetooth range is fine no issues regarding that uh now coming to the microphone also because we are taking a lot of calls these days via this uh the call quality was actually surprisingly good on this one so in terms of call quality also i did not have a problem taking calls with this the only thing is that i for some reason i feel

 that this you have to tap these buttons for the interactions not super responsive sometimes i had accidental taps when i was just trying to adjust it but sometimes when i was intentionally trying to do it it did not register so it's sort of a hit or a mess but i think so eventually you'll get used to that uh next thing is uh regarding the sound quality here i would say uh the default sound quality is also actually really good on this one in that area i would say oppo has done a very good job the base is well defined the mid tones are actually really really good and

 even the high tones are done very well and the cherry on the top is that in fact sound signature is very close to the one plus buzzy in the regular mode but as i've told you if you double tap the the left stem it goes to that enhanced base mode and here i would say uh the base is definitely emphasized i would say it enhances the base uh overall about 25 percent so you do get that actually good base effect which a lot of indians actually like so if you like that you'll enjoy it so in that area i liked it but as i've told you these were simply not that comfortable in my year i changed all the tips also and to get that enhanced base you know these earphones they have to go deep into the gear and even when i was pushing it after sometimes they were just coming out so

 the base was less and after 20 minutes i don't know why this is the first time it's happening to me with the earbuds i have tons and tons of dozens of what do you say in your buds never i got pain but with this one for some reason if i press it inside a little bit more to get that enhanced space after 15-20 minutes i was getting uh what do you say your pain and this happened a lot and that's the reason guys i apologize i couldn't do a proper battery testing of this one because after 20-25 minutes i had to actually take it out because it was giving me pain in the

 air i think so as i've told you uh this area is actually a lot wider and that is the reason it was getting a little bit of pressure in my ears but looks like the battery life should be good typical battery life that you get with tws four four and a half hours i'm assuming and this should charge it about three times but i simply couldn't complete my what do you say battery testing on this one because i tried it again and again for a couple of days after 20-25 minutes let's

 just started uh painting my ears and i changed all the tips i went with the what is the smallest this is the largest default medium also i tried and had the same result in fact if you use the smallest one the base effect is hardly there because they need to provide a good seat so i was getting getting a better seal with the medium and the large one but again that pain of after 25 minutes was an issue it might be just me on my ears because i read online some of the users complained about this issue but many others did not so i would say if you have large size years then it might not be an issue for you but for me definitely uh that was a issue uh now coming to some of the cons that i noticed with this one and this is very peculiar i generally don't listen to music at very

 high volumes with other earphones generally with other earphones about 55 to 65 is plenty loud for me uh but on this one i had to keep the volume levels to about 80 to about 85 percent so the max volume is not very very loud on this one this might not be an issue for most users but if you are a person who always likes to listen to music loud then these simply do not get that loud even at the maximum volume that is something that you have to note it didn't bother me but i was surprised that i had to keep my volume levels around 85 percent so that is something that i noticed and the biggest con for me is that comfort for me it might be great for uh you guys and i love the fact that you have that two sound tone signature uh enhanced based or regular so that way i would say for music just music if i forget the year pain that i was getting i really like this in fact the sound quality on this one uh is actually very good comparable to uh earphones that cost twelve

 thousand fourteen thousand in year one that actually good the sound qualities but sadly it was giving me pain in the ears so i simply after 20-25 minutes i had to take it out arrested actually painting uh so that was a weird experience i would say in terms of comfort i did not like it that way i would say uh the oneplus buzzy that i had reviewed about two weeks ago these were super super these are actually super comfortable i can just wear this for hours and hours together and i don't even feel it's there in uh my ears so that way these are very very comfortable in fact i would say uh i like this because biggest reason is comfort in terms of audio signature in the standard mode

 both actually sound very close to each other but as i said in my review of the oneplus if you're a person who likes that heavy bass uh this is slightly unlacking with the heavy bass that's the only con that i had with this one and i would say in terms of call quality also i felt that the oppose was slightly better but as i've told you in terms of comfort these were very comfortable in fact i have to give one tws to my daughter and uh she also tried this oppo once again obviously

 her ears are even smaller than mine and she also got that pain so i will be giving her this one uh but if that ear pain issue is not there to you i would rate these oppo ones as high as 8.5 out of 10 because for the price the sound signature that we are getting is excellent and also we did not have an issue of any lip syncing or latency which is a big deal so overall in terms of the functionality i would say apart from that stem accidental touches sometimes and all those things minor things that i mentioned i really like them but it's the comfort thing uh but again uh if you are

 sort of a music lover then you will like this more in fact just for pure music i feel it is better than the one plus because of the enhanced based mode that it has but comfort wise uh definitely the one plus uh goes ahead uh i would say that you i'll leave the link of amazon india it's available on amazon india and the good thing with amazon india is that uh if you don't like a product you can sort of return it so if you're really passionate about music listen to a lot of music you can go with this try it down maybe it's comfortable to you you have large size ears it will be very comfortable to you if that's the case you'll really enjoy it but personally for me uh that fit was
